ってなんやねんと思って英文記事を漁ってみた。
One way to model microgravity is to apply a strong magnetic field that opposes gravity, which repels the water in animals' bodies and levitates them slightly.
It works because a strong magnetic field distorts the movement of electrons in water molecules, which in turn produces a magnetic field that opposes the one applied.
とのことで、マイスナー効果で浮かせてるってことでいいのかな? 今ひとつピンとこない。ちゃんと物性も勉強しとくんだったなぁ。
